FAQ

  • The official conference program start at 9 October at 1:00pm and runs further on Saturday 10 to Sunday 11 October around 6:00pm.

  • All attendees are responsible for the costs of their own accommodation, but there are many places to stay across Brussels. Find more information about where to stay.

    If you are having trouble booking accommodation, please let us know.

  • Attendees joining us from high and middle income countries are asked to pay €90 for the three days. If you just come for one or two days we ask to pay €40 per day.

    Students and young people (aged until 26) are paying €25 for three days or €10 per day.

    Free tickets are available for speakers and contributors.

    For attendees joining from low income countries, the conference is free.

    If you would like to attend but you are unable to pay the charge, please get in touch.

  • Ticket fees are based on your country of origin, so please check if you are already entitled to a free ticket before contacting us.
    We have an inclusivity fund for people who would like to attend but are unable to pay the €90/€40 or €25/€10 fee.

    Email us on xxx and we will consider all applications on an individual basis. We cannot guarantee that all those who submit a request will be granted a free ticket.

  • The content of the conference may appeal to young Fair Traders aged under 18, but we think young people under the age of 18 may not benefit fully from the content.

    We would ask that all young people under the age of 18 are always accompanied by an adult.

  • The conference will mainly be conducted in English.

    Official interpreters are not provided. However, we will help each other and use digital tools such as Google Translate and DeepL.

    The Saturday program in Namur (French-speaking Belgium) will be conducted in English and French.
